Michael Frisbie moved to Belton with his grandfather, John, three years ago. And since July 2023, Michael has received his dental care at the Cass County Dental Clinic location in Belton.
As an eight-year-old, Michael loves that his appointments at the clinic are thorough but short and even end with an occasional present.
“Michael likes that he is no longer hurting and his visits only last 30 minutes or an hour,” his grandfather John said. “And sometimes he gets a small gift or treat!”
John was challenged to find a dentist that accepted Michael’s state insurance or allowed him to pay in installments rather than all at once. But since Michael has become a patient, their family finds visiting the dentist to be an accessible, caring place. Cass County Dental Clinic strives to improve access to high-quality and compassionate care. Creating relationships with people like Michael and John is doing exactly that.
At the end of their latest appointment, John reflected on the importance of the care Michael is receiving.
“The workers are all very kind and explain what is happening at each visit. All his cavities are fixed so he can grow adult teeth. Now, he doesn’t have to worry about pain.”
